Micah is a performer, choreographer and arts educator based in the Bay Area. She is a Saint Mary's College Graduate who received a B.A. in Dance and minored in Women & Genders Studies. During her studies, she was able to choreograph several pieces and had them travel to four different cities within the U.S. and three countries such as Italy and China. She comes from two decades of dance training in various disciplines such as Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Musical Theater and Hip Hop. She has performed in all of these dance styles and learned from legends such as Arlene Kennedy to contemporary performers like Alex Newell.
Micah creates and performs art based on the idea that it is a radical act. Through her writing, dancing, or choreographing, she wants to create conversation between people and reiterate the importance of art within our society.
